NF Railway Tender for the work of Handling parcel at Dimapur, Lumding, Hojai & Chapermukh stations, Notice No. C/2 of 2017
1. Sr. DivisionalCommercial Manager, Northeast Frontier Railway, Lumding-782447 (Assam) for and
on behalf of the President of India invites sealed tenders (not transferable)
from the genuine registered Labour Co-operative Societies of actual workers
with not more than one or two outsiders in the “field of operation” for thework of Handling parcel at Dimapur, Lumding, Hojai & Chapermukh stations.
2. Other local
Co-operative Societies of actual workers may also apply but preference will be
given to societies belonging to the societies in the “field of operation” of
parcel Handling. If ‘eligible’ Co-operative Societies are found unsuitable or
unwilling to work, others may be called for selection at a later stage.
3. The process of
selection of Labour Co-operative Society will be in accordance with the policy
guidelines of Railway Board issued from time to time starting with circular
No.78/E(Co-op)/14/2 dated: 08.09.78 including the latest circular.
The Labour Co-operative Societies of actual workers may
collect tender documents from the office of
- Sr. Divisional Commercial Manager, N.F.Railway, Lumding,
- Asstt. Commercial Manager/N.F.Railway/Guwahati office and
- Asstt. Commercial Manager/N.F.Railway/Badarpur from 10:00 hrs. of 02.02.2017 upto 12:00 hrs. of 01.03.2017 on all working days on cash payment.
- Sr. Divisional Commercial Manager,
- Asstt. Commercial Manager, N.F.Railway/Guwahati office and
- Asstt. Commercial Manager/N.F.Railway/Badarpur upto 15:00 hrs.
Earnest Money: - An amount of Rs.1000/- (Rupees one
thousand) only is required to be deposited as Earnest Money in favour of FA
& CAO/N. F. Railway/Maligaon by
Banker’s Cheques/Demand Drafts only of any Nationalized Bank of India
and attached original receipt in support of the deposit made along with tender,
failing which the tender will be summarily rejected. Money in form of Guarantee
Bond shall not be accepted.
8. The period of
contract : - 03(three) years from
the date of awarding contract.
9. Validity
offer : -
90(ninety) days from the date of opening tender.
10. Cost of Tender
document : - Rs. 3000/- at office and Rs. 3500/- by post only.
Note:- For any Last minute changes of Tender please check on
Net/Newspaper/Corrigendum at the Respective Offices mentioned in the original
Tender Notice before dropping.
11. Money Order, Postal Order or Cheque will not be
accepted. The cost of Tender Form is not refundable. Tender/s desiring tender documents by registered post
or speed post should pay
Rs.500/- for each
tender document in addition
to the amount mentioned for
purchase of Tender Forms.
Railway will not be responsible for any postal delay.
12. The request for Tender forms in person will be
entertained up to 12:00 hrs. of 01.03.17 and by post seven days prior to the last date of dropping of
the tender. No responsibility will be taken by the Railways for delay/loss/non
receipt of tender documents sent by post.
13. Tender will be received by the office of DRM(C)/LMG,
ACM/BPB & ACM/GHY up to 15:00 hrs of 01.03.17 and will be opened at 15:30
hrs at DRM(C)/LMG office on 03.03.17. The tenderer can also send tender paper
by Register post indicating tender notice No. before closing as specified date
and time but Railway administration shall not be responsible for any delay.
- Certificate of registration of Labour Co-operative Society.
- Certificate in respect of area/field of operation of the Society (Area/Field of operation must be covered above 04 (four) stations.
- Share capital of the Society.
- No. of member in the Society.
- Bye-laws of the Society.
- Minutes of the last annual general meeting of the Society duly approved by the Registrar of Co-operative Society of the concerned area where the society is Registered.
- Credentials – Certificate of experience in the line of Handling of parcel/goods Traffic in the Railways in favour of Society. No individual credentials would be allowed.
Above all the documents should be attached with the tender.
Tender documents is also available on Northeast Frontier Railway website
i.e. www.nfr.indianrailways.gov.in and the same can be downloaded and used as
tender documents for submitting the offer. This facility is available free of
cost. However, the cost of the tender paper of Rs.3000/- (Rupees three
thousand) only have to be deposited by the tenderer in the form of Bank draft
payable in favour of FA&CAO, N.F.Rly., Maligaon along with the downloaded
tender documents. This should be paid separately and not included in the
earnest money. If the downloaded tender document is not accompanied with the
cost of tender document as detailed above, the offer will be summarily
rejected. In case of any discrepancy between the tender documents downloaded
from internet and the master copy, letter shall prevail and will be binding on
the tender. No claim on this account will be entertained.
