The current account holders are allowed to withdraw up to ₹ 50000

The current account holders (applicable to Current Accounts which are operational for last three months or more) are allowed to withdraw up to ₹ 50000 in a week. Such tenders will be disbursed predominantly in ₹ 2000 denomination only.Withdrawal of Legal Tender Character of Specified Bank Notes – Expanding the distribution locations for deposit and withdrawal of cash.

Consequent to the announcement of withdrawal of legal tender status of banknotes of ₹ 500 and ₹1000 denominations from the midnight of November 8, 2016, the Reserve Bank of India made arrangements for exchange and/or deposit of such notes at the counters of the Reserve Bank and commercial banks, Regional Rural banks and Urban Cooperative Banks. Such exchange/deposits effected from November 10, 2016 upto November 27, 2016 amounted to ₹ 8,44,982 crore (exchange amounted to ₹ 33,948 crore and deposits amounted to ₹ 8,11,033 crore) as in RBI's press release. It is also stated that the public have withdrawn, during this period, ₹ 2,16,617 crore from their accounts either over the counter or through ATMs.

As per the amendments made in the relevant regulations of MCI, the designated authority at the State/UT level shall conduct common counselling for all medical education institutions in the State whether established by the Central Government, State Government, University, Deemed University, Trust, Society, Company, Minority Institutions or Corporation.

The Government has launched PowerTex India , a comprehensive scheme for powerloom sector development, simultaneously at over 45 locations in the country on 1st April 2017.  The comprehensive scheme has the following components: In-situ Upgradation of Plain Powerlooms Group Workshed Scheme (GWS) Yarn Bank Scheme Common Facility Centre (CFC) Pradhan Mantri Credit Scheme for Powerloom Weavers Solar Energy Scheme for Powerlooms Facilitation, IT, Awareness, Market Development and Publicity for Powerloom Schemes Tex Venture Capital Fund Grant-in-Aid and Modernisation & Upgradation of Powerloom Service Centres (PSCs) Launching the scheme in Bhiwandi, Thane district, Maharashtra, the Union Textiles Minister, Smt.
